Bombs blast rock GSM market in Yobe State

Many may have been killed this afternoon as twin blasts hit the Global System Communication (GSM) market in Potiskum, Yobe State, north-east Nigeria, residents said.

Witnesses said that two female suicide bombers on tricycle came to the market. As one alighted and went inside the market, the other was left in the tricycle as the two explosive devices went off simultaneously.

“I can confirm to you that the situation at the moment is tense up after the twin blast went off around 3:15 this afternoon and rescue operation is still going on and no one can tell you the casualty figure now.
