Photos: Tanker explodes in front of Murtala Mohammed Airport Lagos

A tragic incident which occurred this afternoon at Murtala Mohammed Airport 2 has reaffirmed the faith of Nigerians in the men of the Fire service. According to a Twitter user, Engr Gunda, a tanker which was engulfed by fire right in front of the domestic airport could have caused more trouble around the vicinity but for quick response from men of the fire service who were swift in discharging their duty, calm was restored withing 20 minutes.
