Former Chairman, Senate Committee on Education, Senator Uche Chukwumerije has died at the age of 75 after battling with lung cancer. The senator who was representing Abia North Senatorial District under the PDP platform passed on yesterday at a Turkish hospital in Abuja. He was one time information minister under the Babangida regime. May he rest in peace.
