The chairman Stanel Oil, Mr. Stanley Uzochukwu and his wife celebrated his birthday on 30th of July at IDP camps in Jos. During the course of the visit, they distributed over 1,300 bags of rice, 1,200 bags of beans, 900 bags of maize, thousands of mattresses, sweaters, buckets and over 500 cartoons of indomie noodles. The couple also gave scholarships up to university level to some of the people in the camp including a set of twins who watched their parents get killed. Keke Napeps was also distributed to some of the disabled.
Concerned about the state of living, the Chairman immediately mobilized for the construction of toilets on the settlement ground in order to provide good sanitary conditions. Thousands of wrappers and undisclosed sums of money were also donated to the IDP's.
There were also doctors on ground to diagnose and treat the IDP's and perhaps the most cherished moment was when drugs worth millions of Naira were given in both IDP camps for free. These included multi-vitamins and other essential lifesaving drugs needed by doctors to successfully manage situations in the camps. Continue..
Earlier before they ate and drank with the IDP's they shared the word of God through Pastor David Majibo from the Dunamis church of God and distributed thousands of free copies of the holy bible.
Mr. Stanley Uzochukwu thanked God for the inspiration and encouraged other well-to-do Nigerians to support the internally displaced persons anywhere they are found in Nigeria as they are our brothers and sisters. For him the change that has come with the coming of President Buhari is a tonic that should motivate every entrepreneur to join hands with the government to help move the nation forward in every way they can.
