Lady overpowers armed robber who attacked her in Benin (photo)

A female reporter of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) seriously fought and overpowered one Stanley, a commercial bus driver who tried to rob her. The woman, who went for a wedding in Edo from Lagos, said Stanley approached her while cleaning her car around 5a.m and ordered her not to make a noise. She however appealed to him that her sister, whom she lodged with, is heavily pregnant and could go into forced-labour at the sight of the gun but Stanley didn't care. She later summoned courage as they neared the entrance of the sitting room. She grabbed the gun, struggled with him and turned the gun to his chest. He bit her and she bit him back. They struggled back to where the car was packed and she started calling for help. Her brother-in-law later came to her rescue and beat Stanley with raw passion. Stanley has now sued them for carrying out jungle justice on him.
