On Friday, November 27, 2015, he took his wife, friends and relations to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Wassa, Abuja where he shared meals with the IDPs and handed over loads of various food items, including grains, beverages and drinks to them.
During the celebration, Chief Metuh took out time to visit various homes in the camp, where he met with families. He was deeply touched by their deplorable condition, especially the absence of basic amenities like drinking water, which prompted him to pledge to collaborate with relevant government agencies to provide potable water in the camp.
