Nigeria beat Algeria 2-1, Emerge winners of 2015 U23 AFCON

Nigeria defeated Algeria 2-1 for the 2015 U23 AFCON crown at the Leopold Sedar Senghor in Dakar. Both teams have already qualified for next year’s Rio Olympics by virtue of reaching the championship game. They were joined by South Africa, who defeated host, Senegal 3-1 via penalty in the Third Place match. Etebo Oghenekaro, the competition’s top scorer repeated his fluency and brilliance in front of goal as he scored the goals that handed the Dream Team VI their first Africa U23 diadem.
