Yay! Nigeria’s Women basketball team D’Tigress are 2017 African Champions

Nigeria Senior Women’s Basketball team, D’Tigress, have emerged the 2017 African champions following their 65-48 win over Senegal today, Sunday in the final of the 2017 Afrobasket Championship. They will now head to the next year’s world championship as African champions and will be looking to represent the continent. This makes it the third time the D’Tigress are winning the biennial championship title. They won in 2003 and 2005.
