In order to advocate a free, fair and violent free election this February, the Nigerian government and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has appointed a number of entertainers as the brand’s youth ambassadors.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in collaboration with Democratic Governance for Development (UNDP-DGD) has organised a 2-day National Youth Summit in Abuja which kicked off early today, Monday January 19, 2015 and will come to an end tomorrow, Tuesday January 20, 2015. With Theme ‘Nigerian Youth: Working for peaceful elections, Deepening our Democracy’ To achieve its aim of sensitising the youth, the electoral body today unveiled a number of Nigerian celebrities as its ambassadors.
They include; Nollywood actors Jim Iyke, Mike Godson, Gideon Okeke, Gbenro Ajibade, Big Brother finalist, Tayo Faniran; singer, Frank Edwards among others.More photos below..
